BLANK CANVAS
Blank Canvas is a poetry collection by author Leanne Kathleen Ingino, published by World Stage Press. For the cover the author wanted to incorporate images of
a pen or ink bottle.
Blank Canvas is an ode to the raw, blank page creatives use to funnel their pain, joy, and day-to-day lives. This collection explores themes of love, mental health, and feminism through utilization of artistic terminology.

I explored a few approaches to the idea of blank, and how to highlight the space it created in the mind. Leanne and I talked over the first round and ended up merging the two ideas above for the final cover.
Leanne wanted in the end a clean minimal approach to this design.
